Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Hope everyone had a good one ^_^

I just wanted to make a quick entry saying that I do plan on coming back to DA. My presence here has been inhibited for a number of reasons: Work, No tablet/art software..work, work and, did I mention work? Yeah. [Empoyee of the month, btw, for this past August! Yay me! ]

This Christmas I was graced with my very own copy of Photoshop CS6. The only thing I am now missing in a tablet, which I plan to get very soon [hopefully next pay check..] So I am VERY excited to get back into drawing and giving my watchers a reason to follow me again =w=

I also plan on doing a MASSIVE gallery clean up and getting everything organized cause I'm sure its a mess in there..

In other news, I brought weekend passes for

and I, for AnimeNEXT 2013! I will FINALLY be attending ALL weekend

CS6? NICE! Tell me how that is. I remember when I upgraded from CS2 to CS4 but I didn't notice much of a difference. I've been meaning to buy those passes, maybe I'll do that this week but I'm not sure. They seem more expensive than last year (that better mean we're going to have better guests than last year's). So, you guys are gonna stay in Somerset this year? Awesome!

I've used the trial before, its pretty cool. It has a darker look to it, which is good for me cause its easier to work on..if that makes sense lol

and yup, we are ^^ We're more or less going to stay on the actual grounds since it would be easier..more expensive, but easier.

and I loved my gift ^^ I've been meaning to get them all on DVD since all my copies are on VHS and I dont have a VCR anymore =w=

and we definitely need to. Though with the two new releases of movies this month I'm not sure how much free time I'm gonna have =/ when do you guys go back?
